Can you believe it? July went by faster than a dog with the zoomies! But here we are, ready to recap another month of adventures, challenges, and a whole lot of growth.
Fitness & Health: Moving and Fasting
This month, I managed to stay consistent with my movement routine, working out three times a week alternating between ballet barre and kettlebell workouts on YouTube. Ballet barre has been fantastic for my body remembering what it was like to dance formally, while the kettlebell workouts are perfect for building endurance and toning muscles. And yes, I'm still committed to my monthly 48-hour fasting ritual. Currently, I'm in the midst of my July fast, a tradition I uphold before my solar return. Fasting not only helps me reset physically but also allows me to take a break from cooking and dishes for 2 whole days. 🌞
Soul Creator Course: Finding My Path
The Soul Creator course has been a game-changer. I’ve been diligent with my weekly assignments and community engagement. This course has forced me to put things in order, connect the dots, and figure out exactly what I want to do with my YouTube channel, Queen Tasha TV. The energy and inspiration from the whole process are amazing. I’m thrilled to announce that I'm back on YouTube with new videos every Monday at 7 PM EST starting in August! 🎥 I hosted a Live Stream this past Sunday and released my first video since last year on RV Purge & Reorganization on Monday. So, go check that out! It's been invigorating to make and share new content. The feedback from the community has been incredible, and it's pushed me to keep going.
Outdoor Adventures: The Struggle is Real
Despite all this productivity, I’m still struggling to find the motivation to go outside and play. It's frustrating because I want to, and I plan to, but the thought of doing it alone just zaps my enthusiasm. The loneliness is hitting hard, so I really hope some friends or family can visit soon. There’s something about being in nature that rejuvenates the soul, but I'm in a phase where without companionship, it can feel more like a chore than an adventure.
Financial Challenges: Tight Times
Financially, it's been a tight squeeze. The savings from selling the car have run out, and the online gigs have been slow. I was offered a temp job planting and watering trees here at the park, which I'm grateful for. However, since it’s a state job, they hold your pay for an extra week, meaning I won’t get paid in time for what I need. This means I'm still negative for the month of August. But because I want to make it worth the tax deductions, I’ll likely stay an extra month or two. I've been maxing out my credit cards to stay afloat which isn’t ideal, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Each day is a balancing act, trying to make ends meet while pursuing my dreams. It's a tough road, but I'm determined to keep moving forward.
Leo Season & Birthday Plans: Celebrating Me
August, of course, is the best month because it’s Leo season—obviously the best season! I’ll be turning 41 this Sunday, August 4th, so feel free to shower me with love and, let’s be real, money because I really do need it. 🎉💸 I plan to celebrate by taking out one of the party boats to go fishing with a coworker and his wife, followed by a crab leg dinner and a cozy fire. That’s pretty much it. Simple, yet fulfilling—just how I like it. It’s about taking a moment to appreciate life, even in its simplicity, and being grateful for the little joys. Next year, the International vacation of my dreams.
Future Goals: Learning and Growing
This month, I’m diving into another course to learn how to secure angel investor money. We’re at a standstill with the Royal Poo Company until we can fund the crowdfunding campaign manager and manufacturing of the Eco Throne. So, with a temp job, volunteering, two courses, building an empire, two dogs, and adulting, I’m hoping not to get overwhelmed. Seriously, someone take me on a vacation—I deserve it! Balancing all these responsibilities is a Herculean task, but I’m driven by the vision of the divine life I'm creating for myself.
Sacrifices and Dreams: The Reality Check
August will be all about learning, growing, and expanding. Sacrificing everything for your dreams is no joke, and I’m really feeling it. I know I have what it takes to win, but a little help would go a long way. If you’re feeling generous, my CashApp is $queentasha84 and my PayPal is queentashasempire@gmail.com. Each bit of support helps me move closer to my goals and eases the journey just a little bit.
31-Day Dance Challenge: Embracing Vulnerability
Starting August 1st, I’m embarking on a 31-day dance challenge, sharing 30-second dance clips every day. This is a huge step for me, as I've been talking about returning to dance for years but have always found it intimidating to start. Now, I finally feel ready to commit to this journey. This challenge is not just about dancing—it's about committing to consistency, being vulnerable, and sharing my growth with all of you. It’s part of my strategy to create regular content and build a stronger connection with my audience. I hope you'll join me on this journey, cheer me on, and maybe even dance along!
Here’s to a fantastic August full of growth, adventure, and maybe a bit of fun in the sun!
