Farewell, Navajo State Park!
October was like an obstacle course disguised as a calendar month, where every day had one main mission: Get Rolling Royalty Road-Ready. So much organizing, RV fine-tuning, and outdoor packing. If it sounds intense, it was. I sorted every last corner of my RV, optimized space, gave my girl a full mechanical checkup, and stowed away the outdoor setup week by week. By the time I left Navajo State Park on October 26th, it felt like I’d conquered my own RV Olympics!

The Great Capital Navigator Adventure Begins
Amidst all the pre-prepping, I did manage to start my Capital Navigators course—a major step on the path to attracting angel investors for the Royal Poo Company. So far, I’m learning that the road to investor dollars involves some serious strategizing, and maybe a little bit of sweet talk! This course is already unlocking some amazing ideas, so stay tuned because the Royal Poo is about to get its crown!

Final Fires and No Kayaks
Sadly, my fall bucket list item—kayaking—remains untouched. The weather had other plans. Between cold fronts and my schedule, my little raft stayed in its storage space. But hey, I did manage to get a weekly fire going, burning up a small amount of the hefty wood pile I collected over the season, from cleaning fire pits, savoring the last moments of Colorado campground vibes. I may not have conquered the water, but I was the fire queen of Navajo for one last month!

October 26th: Onward to Vegas!
With my RV packed and ready, I set out on October 26th, bound for the warm embrace of Las Vegas. The journey south was a mix of highs, lows, and some unforgettable detours.

Stop 1: Mesa Verde National Park—Determined to see the Cliff Palace
I'd always wanted to see the ancient cliff dwellings because I missed them on the last visit, and though I could almost feel my RV groaning as we wound our way up that mountain, I thought, “It’s going to be worth it!” Spoiler alert: It wasn’t. Tours to the Cliff Palace were closed for the season, and while I got a good look at the stunning (and ancient) Cliff Palace, that drive was the stuff of nightmares. A 25-mile stretch (one way) of hairpin turns, steep grades, and the realization that there’s absolutely no way I’m doing that drive again in an RV. So there I am, parked on a cliff, wondering why I thought this was a good idea. Was the drive worth the mild heart attack? Probably not. But hey, now I can say I’ve seen the famous cliff palace…from afar. Lesson learned.

Overnight Pit Stop: Walmart Adventures
After forgetting that I wouldn’t find a camping spot at dusk on a Saturday, I decided to overnight at a Walmart parking lot nearby. The RV community’s unofficial safe haven, right? It wasn’t exactly scenic, but it was a welcome flat spot to park, unwind, and map out the next day’s adventure. Shoutout to Walmart for being an unintentional hero in the RV world!

Day 2: A Detour and a Good View in Page, AZ
The plan was to get further on Day 2 to Kanab Utah, But surprise! An accident, that shut down the road, forced me onto a 30-mile detour. I found a great boondocking spot 2 miles down from the Walmart, with just enough daylight to settle in and take in the epic red-rock scenery as the sunset. For a spot found last-minute, I had to admit, the view made up for the detour. I felt the southwest warmth creeping in. Goodbye, 30s at night!

Day 3: Zion National Park’s Tunnel Surprise
Monday morning, I was pumped to explore Zion. I had it all planned out: arrive early on a Monday, at Zion National Park. I thought, “It’s a Monday, maybe the crowds will be lighter.” Spoiler alert number two: They weren’t. Let’s just say, Zion is a popular place. Not only did I accidentally take the route with a tunnel requiring a pricey toll pass, but when I finally got in, parking was extremely limited for oversized vehicles. I risked it with a spot in the campground parking lot (That strictly said no parking for day use) just so I could take the pups on the only dog-friendly trail in the park. We had a lovely—albeit brief—stroll with the dogs in their stroller (yes, I’m that dog mom), before high-tailing it out. Zion: beautiful, but not quite RV-friendly either. I managed to find a beautiful scenic boondocking spot just off the highway in Arizona for one last night before my final push to Vegas Baby!

Finally in Vegas: Halloween Shenanigans with Mina
Arriving in Vegas, I headed straight to see my friend Mina, who, like me, is all about Halloween. We caught up the first 2 nights with her cooking for me and enjoying her personal hot tub. (Need that) Halloween we went all out dressing up and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Naturally, I dressed as a ballerina in my purple tutu, making full use of my stash of costumes. Nothing like spreading Halloween joy in lots of costumes choices! The dogs were beyond thrilled to leave behind the freezing Colorado mornings and, in true Vegas fashion, settled right in with my friend’s two chihuahuas. Only hitch? They’re thoroughly confused by the rocky, sandy desert landscape—finding a “suitable” spot to poop has become a daily saga. But they’ll adapt... eventually.

November Goals: Hustle Grind Activated!
Now that I’m in Vegas for at least a month, it’s time to dive into full hustle mode. Here’s what’s on the agenda:

  1. Money-Making Missions: Booking Instawork, Rover, and TaskRabbit gigs to keep the money flow going. With house-sitting gigs and gig apps, Vegas should be a treasure trove of opportunities.

  2. Queen Tasha's Empire: 2025 Calendar, Yes, it’s happening. A whole new photo calendar for 2025, with all the fabulous Queen Tasha vibes you love. I’m also working on holiday bundles with my natural products—perfect for gift season. Keep an eye out because I’ll be dropping these in time for Black Friday!

  3. Amazon Affiliate Magic: The holiday season is prime time for Amazon affiliate sales, so I’m optimizing my links to add a little extra cash flow to the mix. Expect to see some of my favorite travel, RV, and wellness gear linked up in my content. Treat yourself while helping your favorite queen. It’s a win-win.

  4. Media Kit Madness: It’s about time I had a media kit to send out to potential sponsors. I’m talking full brand breakdown, channel stats, all the highlights. With that in hand, I’ll be pitching to brands and (hopefully) securing some juicy sponsor deals. but I'm only working with brands that want to work with an RVing, wellness-loving, eco-conscious Queen, not selling out for things that don't align.

  5. Capital Navigators Course: Funding, Here I Come: My Capital Navigators course is high on the priority list. I want to get through as much as possible this month so I can hit the ground running with fundraising for the Royal Poo Company. It’s time to attract those angel investors and start turning my composting toilet dreams into reality.

Looking Ahead: Entrepreneur Mode Engaged
This winter, it’s all about building the brand and setting up for a major 2025. I’m in full entrepreneur mode, and with any luck, Vegas will be a profitable and inspiring stop on the way to making big dreams happen. If everything goes well here, I might stick around a little longer than planned. The goal? Financial stability, creative freedom, and prepping for the transition the Mexico.

Until Next Month
October was a marathon, but November, here I come—packed with hustle, holiday plans, and maybe, just maybe, a little more rest time for me and the pups. Thanks for following along on this wild ride, and as always, live fearlessly free! 👑
